I’m graduated in public relations from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1997) and it couldn’t have been different. My Master's degree, in 2001, at the same institution, was in media where I researched institucional propaganda and advertising. I started teaching in Unisinos quite by accident and I have been in love with it since 2001. I have been always developing other concomitant activities, but, of course, all related to communication. Thinking about communication strategies and publics relationships, oh, that's my area! And because of this I had also worked as manager of a communication department in a network of music stores and an organization of fashion information in the Internet (Usefashion.com). I was also co-founder and a partner of Scalinatta, corporate events organization. At Unisinos, I had been the Public Relations course coordinator and the organizer of communication coursework. Nowadays, besides teaching undergraduate courses: Advertising, Digital Communication and Public Relations, I’m part of the department that develops relationships with high schools. Moreover, I also develop special projects such as the botanical garden of the university, popularization of science, and since last year, the organization and production of TEDxUnisinos. Oh, I must say what I believe to be one of my best experiences, therefore very important, and it must be in the curriculum because it made me very different: I am the mother of two children who teach me every day to be better, more detached, more curious, more smiling, more human .
