Bio
My name is Daniela Soledad Di Lauro. I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I live there currently. In 2015, I graduated as a Technical Translator into English and, since then, I have trained as much as I have been able to. I have taken different courses on audiovisual translation in order to improve my skills and optimise my services. I have joined several non-profit organizations, the last one was TED Talks. I am really excited about contributing to this interesting community as a translator and subtitler into my native language, which is Latam Spanish.

I'm passionate about
I'm passionate about translating, subtitling and learning a lot of new things while I'm doing those two things that I mentioned first.
An idea worth spreading
I believe that translation and subtitling are bridges towards knowledge and awareness of vital issues to reach a much better life. In translating and subtitling, we became key communicators with the responsibility to spread true information to our society.
The TED story
I already knew about TED but I didn't know that I could join as a translator. I heard about the possibility of translating and subtitling here in a training course on audiovisual translation. Without any doubts, I joined and that is why I am here ready to learn!
Things you might not know
People don't know I'm good at painting and drawing, or at least the contacts I have in my social media, like LinkedIn, where I usually post things about my profession.
