Bio
With a degree in International Commerce and Specialization in International Business, and after his training in English Language Teaching in Mexico and abroad, Colonel and Dr. J. Pedro Galindo Macías has been a professor for more than 30 years, including teacher training courses and training for interpreters and translators. He has served as an in-house Interpreter-Translator for more than 35 years. He was granted the Teaching Merit Decoration in 1997, Extraordinary-Class Perseverance Decoration, and the Legion of Honor Medal. With Excellence Remark in Postgraduate Degree in Technical Translation in Mexico, and 32 translated and published English and Italian books, he moved to the US pursuing a master’s degree in Translation-Interpretation, thereby confirming his hypothesis and experience. He is an Associate Member of the Mexican Association of Literary Translators, Honorary Member of the Bar of Graduates in Translation and Interpretation, he is in the records of the Encyclopedia of Literature in Mexico. An Extraordinary Ad Honorem Researcher and a Doctor in Education. In the military and before retiring, he served as Deputy Director for Translation and Interpretation. Thesis Advisor for War School Graduate Students. CEO of English4All. He lives in Mexico City/State of Mexico.
