Bio

I’m a Clinical Pharmacy student passionate about learning, sharing knowledge, and making meaningful ideas accessible to more people. I’m excited to volunteer with TED and contribute to spreading “Ideas Worth Spreading” by helping make valuable talks and knowledge available to a wider audience through translation. I believe that language should never be a barrier to learning. By volunteering as a translator, I hope to help connect people from different backgrounds with inspiring ideas, perspectives, and knowledge that can make a positive impact. I’m eager to contribute my language skills, learn from the TED community, and be part of a global effort to make knowledge more accessible.

I'm passionate about

Knowledge has the power to change lives, but language should never be a barrier to accessing it. Spreading knowledge in as many languages as possible allows people from different cultures and backgrounds to learn, connect, and grow together. Translation is not simply about changing words from one language to another; it is about giving people access to new ideas, perspectives, and opportunities. When knowledge crosses language barriers, it reaches more people and allows humanity to learn collectively. I believe that making knowledge accessible to everyone, regardless of the language they speak, is essential for us to grow, understand one another, and truly bloom as human beings.

An idea worth spreading

Knowledge is one of the most powerful things we have as human beings, but its impact is limited when it is accessible only to those who speak a particular language. If we truly want humanity to grow, learn, and flourish, we need to make knowledge available in as many languages as possible. Every language carries its own culture, perspective, and way of understanding the world. When we translate an idea, we are not simply changing its words from one language to another; we are giving someone the opportunity to discover a new perspective, learn something that could change their life, or share an idea of their own. The world is full of brilliant ideas, but language barriers can prevent those ideas from reaching the people who need them most. By making knowledge more accessible across languages, we create more opportunities for people to learn from one another, challenge their perspectives, and contribute their own ideas. I believe that spreading knowledge across languages is not only about education—it is about connection. It allows humanity to learn collectively rather than separately. The more we share what we know, the more we can understand each other, grow together, and ultimately bloom as human beings.

The TED story

I’ve always been fascinated by the power of knowledge and the way a single idea can change how we see the world. As a Clinical Pharmacy student, learning is a major part of my life, and I’ve come to believe that knowledge becomes truly valuable when it is shared. My interest in volunteering with TED comes from my belief that language should never determine who gets access to an idea. There are so many inspiring talks, experiences, and perspectives that deserve to reach people everywhere, regardless of the language they speak. I want to contribute by helping make these ideas accessible to more people through translation. To me, translating a TED Talk is more than translating words—it is helping an idea travel from one person to another, across languages and cultures. I’m excited to be part of a community that believes in the power of ideas and in the importance of sharing them. I hope that, through this experience, I can help knowledge reach further and contribute in my own small way to a world where more people have the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow.

Things you might not know

People don’t always know that I’m good at turning complicated ideas into simple, understandable explanations. I genuinely enjoy learning about new topics, connecting different ideas together, and then finding a way to communicate them clearly to others. I’m also good at noticing small details, which I think is especially important when working with language. I care about preserving not only the meaning of a sentence, but also the feeling and intention behind it. Most importantly, I think I’m good at being curious. I enjoy learning things simply because I want to understand them, and I believe that curiosity is one of the best qualities a person can have.
