Bio
Moritz grew up in Germany but has lived and worked in London for almost 25 years and recently completed a Masters in Translation at the OU.
As a former Head of Music in two secondary schools with fully functional recording studios he can translate technical or marketing texts relating to acoustic and electric musical instruments, audio hardware (e.g. mics, amps, mixing desks etc) and music technology (especially Logic, Cubase and Sibelius software), as well as educational or performance-related material and texts about classical, popular and world music.
The specialist areas during his Masters were Acoustics / Popular Science and Marketing translation. During the last two years he has translated for Global Voices and for a German music publishing company.
