Bio
I’m Lucas, a Content Curator, Digital Strategist, and Experience Designer. With a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Branding Management, I blend my expertise in creating and optimizing brand experiences with a strategic approach to the digital world. My work focuses on amplifying narratives and developing purpose-driven brands, and I’m dedicated to transforming ideas into impactful and connective actions.
I'm passionate about
amplifying stories and ideas that inspire action and drive transformation. Through storytelling, I believe in provoking meaningful change and fostering connections that shape the future.
An idea worth spreading
All the stories and conversations we encounter in life converge toward one destination: the provocation that leads to action. I believe that, at its core, every narrative told in the world plays a fundamental role: to inspire action. Stories have the power to move us, to pull us out of inertia, and lead us to create, change, and transform.
Each conversation, every idea shared, carries within it an incredible potential to transform realities. That’s why I believe so strongly in the stories we tell and the ideas we generate. I work with purpose to amplify these voices, to empower stories and ideas that deserve to be told and heard.
It’s not just about telling a story. It’s about provoking, shaking up the status quo, and opening doors to new possibilities. My commitment is to the action that follows reflection, to the changes that words are capable of sparking.
The stories we choose to tell can change the course of a person’s life, a community, or even the world. That’s why I invest so deeply in them, in the conversations and ideas we generate. Because I believe that when a story is well-told, it holds the power to inspire what is most important: action.

The TED story
I discovered TED when I was 16 years old. My father had bought a new TV, which came with the TED app pre-installed. Since I was always passionate about learning English, I remember a teacher in my language school mentioning TED as a tool for practicing listening skills. That’s when I recalled the TED app on the TV and decided to explore it. I was fascinated by what I found. The content was far beyond the bubble of my friends’ world. It was a lonely discovery because no one around me knew about TED, but I was immersed in that world of ideas.
Years later, while serving in the military, I was responsible for the Public Relations area of the barracks, managing the physical spaces. One day, I met a civilian looking for a venue to host an event, and he mentioned it would be a TEDx event. I was thrilled! Although I knew TED, I had no idea about TEDx events.
I was just a recruit, and the barracks didn't typically rent out their spaces for external events. But I was determined to make it happen. I mobilized all the resources I could and went directly to speak with the Commander. For those familiar with military hierarchy, recruits have limited access to high command, but I knew I needed to push for this in the city.
Thanks to this effort, TEDxPraça da Independência was held at the barracks in Itu. The following year, at just 19, I decided to apply for a TEDx license for my city, Indaiatuba. To my surprise, the license was approved. Today, we’re here, hosting our third edition, connecting people through stories and provoking humanity with the conversations we generate.
TED and TEDx events have taken me to places and moments of reflection I never imagined. But most importantly, they allow me to share my purpose with the world through TEDx.
