Bio

I'm a translator, a yoga teacher, and an amateur photographer. I studied languages (English and Spanish) at Sevastopol State University (Crimea) and International Logistics Management at Jacobs University Bremen. I worked in logistics and supply chain in Germany and Mexico City. Moving to Canada in 2015 and becoming a mother shortly thereafter was a transformative experience for me. It was then that I decided to undertake several career experiments. Firstly, I got certified as a community interpreter and worked in this role in healthcare settings in Vancouver. Later I also became an interpreter for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Secondly, I did my yoga teacher training and became a yoga instructor. Yoga has helped me to become a kinder and more loving and patient human and I believe in yoga therapeutic effect for everybody who practices it. Today I'm grateful for the opportunity to teach yoga as a life support system in the communities of Saskatoon where I reside at the moment. And thirdly, I've always been interested in photography, and I enjoy doing some occasional photography work (mostly family and events). I think of myself as a lifelong student, and I'm always open for opportunities to learn something new.
