I joined the TED translator team in 2010. In these years, I have done mostly English-to-Romanian translations, but also a couple of direct ones from Japanese into Romanian and one from Romanian into English, which I first transcribed. Since 2014 I have been language coordinator for Romanian. I am not a professional translator. I learned things while doing them. As such, I am grateful to some of my reviewers, notably including Ariana Bleau Lugo, who by their corrections taught me how to make better translations.
