Designer and Founder of the Furniture firm @leftoverdesign, she has been Host Licensee and Creative Director of TEDxPalermo in 2010 and 2011-13 planning what at that time happen to be the 1000th TEDx ever done worldwide. She is the Moleskine Company Curator of the Detour Exhibitions, selecting protagonists of international culture, inviting them to turn a notebook into an artwork for the traveling show Detour, display since 1999 in Shanghai Beijing Tokyo Paris London New York Milano Istanbul Berlin. Graduated in Literature, she studied Photography, Architecture and Environmental Design. Since 1992 she worked as a journalist both for mags and Tv and in 1998 she conceived and produced a pioneer tvmagazine about Surf, Skate, Snow, awarded in Merano Tv Festival. In 1999 she founded the Cultural Association Kroitnijz and the no profit a.k.a. curatorial projects with a project room in Rome. Her first group show Advertainment-inc. (Entertainment in Advertising) was held at La Triennale Museum in Milan and Man Museum in Nuoro in 1999. Always between Europe, US, Turkey and Latin America she was Visiting Professor at Domus Academy and freelance for mags and Publishers such as DAMn° Marsilio, Booth-Clibborn and Charta Artbooks. As Independent Curator in 2011 she co-curated the Italian Pavilion of PQ Prague Quadrennial of Performing Design and Space and she organized two Parallel Events in the 11th and 12th Istanbul Biennial. With the Leftover brand she made the Collateral Event "A Better World" at Biennale Architettura 2012, and she was selected for the show The Visit MDW2017 curated by StudioPepe, Ladies and Gentlemen MDW2018 curated by P-S and secondome, OPERAE Design Festival 2013-15-16-17, BASE Milano MDW-17-18-19 EDIT Napoli 2020. She curated the group show Souvenir Milano at the Brera Design Apartment MDW2018 and Concierge as a Collateral of BAM Palermo 2019. As Founder of Leftover and Sour brands she is now the Head of Design for the whole collection of collectible furniture, kitchens, surfaces and one-off or limited edition pieces.

When I met TED.com I started to be passionate about spreading some fulfilling TALKS inside a local WebTV, especially if subtitled. Soon to be unveiled the programs will range from conversations around the theme Good News for the Future to monologues, tv magazine, music jam sessions. Always trying to built a brand new opinion on Sicily, against the Mafia cliché. When I did TEDxPalermo 2010-2011 I wish I could be meaningful. Simple as that. Hopefully inspiring.
