I studied Translation Studies, was very excited about it, slowly realised that it's incredibly hard to find a job in the translation industry if you don't want to freelance or be self-employed, figured I can at least use my skills and have fun here while also helping people out who need subtitles, and maybe someday I'll actually work in translation. My favourite task is captioning and figuring out how to fit subtitles into the given time frame while also keeping all the information.
