The TED story
I met TED Talks during my Master Course when my English teacher made us watch"Aimee Mullins: My 12 pairs of legs". She told us that the website was a great tool to practice English while learning, exploring, sharing and become part of a community. Soon enough, I found myself binge-watching videos and downloading scripts to use with the students I used to tutor, and I have to say, results were remarkable. I decided to become a TED Translator when I realized that my family and part of my friends weren't able to follow the videos because they actually didn't understand English. Languages should be bridges, not barriers, so I decided to enter the Translator program.
