I’ve always had a natural curiosity for making change and creating positive impact. As a child, I loved being part of the change-making small projects. Today, I’m still doing what I love. As an engineering student in Kabul university, I make impact through volunteer activities to bring improvements and facilities for student and faculty members. I have enrolled several national and international organizations in different positions and participated several international conferences on empowering youth in community. Successes achieved during my time in these roles include: - Founding and establishing TEDxKabulUniversity, a global platform for sharing ideas to create positive impacts worldwide, in Kabul University. Gathering some of the leaders, thinkers, inventors and influencers to share ideas that worth spreading. - Wining 3rd position in HultPrize global competition on developing a business idea that makes a positive impact on the planet and could make 10 million consumers in a decade, across Kabul University. When I’m not working on above projects, I’m either spending time with my family or reading mystery novels and poets. The world needs to be united under a single ideological school. We all need to fight for a common purpose, worldwide peace.

Everything started with an idea in my mind. It was quite a bit that i was following TED talks online, the ideas and solutions being presented by speakers we’re getting amazed. The platform was just amazing to not let ideas remain “ideas”. It’s calling to an action being taken, for a positive change to be made. I knew that we have such talents and master minds in our local community, with fresh and mind blowing ideas which were remained unheard. It started to walk on my mind, to bring this global platform to my local community and for the first time in my university. We created a strong team out of the motivated students who were eagerly waiting for an opportunity to have a positive impact in community. We started as one, but now we are a team an a family and we are proud of it.
