Hi! My name is Mariana Oliveira and I'm brazilian. I work with Spanish and Portuguese. Portuguese is not only my native language, but also one of the areas I studied as part of my academic training. This background in Portuguese literature and linguistics have provided me a strong knowledge of grammar and orthography, allowing me to work for several years as a proofreader. In addition to Portuguese, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I worked as a Spanish teacher for over 7 years, at the university, in language schools, and in private lessons. I have also been working as a freelance translator (Spanish <> Portuguese) for over 5 years. I finally have some professional experience in subtitling and transcriptions, and I am looking to acquire more practice in these areas.
