About 國威
Bio
Born and raised in Taiwan, an island full of controversy. My parents are mainlanders who migrate to Taiwan during the War between Nationalist and Communists party. I study in media and telecommunication during my graduate school period. I join Global Voices in 2005 by translating English articles into Chinese Traditional, which later became the Project Lingua that now includes more than 23 languages/versions.
I care about the democracy and social revolution in Taiwan, China, and the larger Asia. I am a media critic and a new media/social media lover. I used to work in im.tv, a Youtube-like internet company in Taiwan, and then now work in Mongolian and Tibetan Foundaton as project manager of NomadGreen.org.
