Isabel Taveira

Hello! My name is Isabel. I am a bilingual French Portuguese freelance translator and subtitler based in Brussels, Belgium. Having grown up in Belgium to a Portuguese family, I am a native speaker of both French and Portuguese. I translate and subtitle from English, Portuguese and German into French, as well as from English and French into Portuguese. In terms of qualifications, I have a MA in Audiovisual Translation from UCLouvain, Belgium, and a Postgraduate degree in Translation Technologies from ULisboa, Portugal. I have subtitled short films for several Belgian festivals. And, as a volunteer translator at TED Conferences, I have subtitled several TED Talks.
