Bio

I am somewhat of a modern nomad. After five wonderful years in international education with the German-Polish Youth Office (Warsaw, Poland), I found it is time for a new challenge. Having become increasingly interested in rapidly growing new technologies and truely inspiring professional work environments, I joined Google in 2016. --- In the past ten years have I been living and working in Lublin (PL), Berlin, Hamburg, Warsaw and now Dublin. I like the challenge of exploring new places and communities. Every stay so far enriched thanks to the people I met, friends I made, challenges I overcame and languages I learned. I have been with internationally oriented NGOs, a medium-sized company and an international organization in the past. I would call myself a generalist, which is why I like the related talk by Emilie Wapnick "Why some of us don't have one true calling" (see below). As far as volunteering is concerned, it is for almost 10 years now that I am affiliated with the Economic Forum of Young Leaders (Nowy Sącz, PL), one of the largest gatherings of young professionals from a larger Europe. I research, consult, translate and moderate discussions for the Forum. I like to work on things I have influence on, help to contribute my part to bring forward innovative solutions and strive to connect people from different cultures. In 2014, I joined the TEDxMarszałkowka team where I am responsible for partner relations, background coordination tasks and Social Media.

I'm passionate about

I love connecting to others and assisting people. Since the early days of my studies, I am working on bringing people from different cultures together. I grow with the success of others and like it when things start to HAPPEN and the going gets tough. ;)

An idea worth spreading

Be the first to trust strangers and wonderful things will happen! It is not always easy and sometimes others might try to take advantage of you, but the majority of people will respond positively. Trust me! :) Amanda Palmer explained this approach beautifully in her talk "The Art of Asking" (see below).

Areas of expertise

The TED story

... begins as a couch potatoe watching talk after talk online. I dreamed of organizing a TED screening combinded with a public debate on some talks. But I came to the conclusion that instead of doing things alone from home, it is more fun to work in a group of likeminded. Currently, my TED adventure is defined by the wonderful team of www.tedxmarszalkowska.com which I joined in 2014! Although I moved to Dublin in 2016, I still keep ties with our guys back in Poland.
