I'm Megan, a half-French British national with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Portuguese as well as a Master of Arts with Distinction in Translation. I am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and have a background in subtitling project management and in the energy and environmental sector. My passion lies in audio-visual translation and bringing clients' videos to English-speaking audiences. Other specialisations are travel and tourism and energy and environment. A firm believer that you cannot know a language without knowing its culture, I am relentless in my pursuit to immerse myself in the cultures that speak my source languages, particularly in Latin America. Whether it's studying abroad or translating remotely, travel allows me to perfect my fluency, learn different varieties of Portuguese, Spanish and French, and ultimately become a better translator.
