Bio
I am an entrepreneur, having lived most of my life in Indonesia. After finishing highschool, I went overseas to Australia to learn culinary arts and gaining experience there working and meeting new people, and understanding new cultures and ideas. I also have worked in South Korea a few years ago and find really interesting things there.
I have just started trying to translate videos so that people from my country can understand the ideas and concepts in TED talk videos from foreign language speakers, and vice versa. Hope to meet you all!
I'm passionate about
Cooking, learning new things there is about ways to prepare and cook existing food items into new shapes, designs. Things such as making a new modern twist on a traditional dish, or improving on existing recipes to make it more healthier or attractive to the younger generation.
I also play chess, while I am just an amateur, I find that chess helps to keep the mind alert, be aware of opportunities, helping to break down the tasks needed and plan accordingly.
An idea worth spreading
When you see a restaurant that says, 'Authentic [Insert country] food', does the food come from recent times, or 50 , or 100, or from the middle ages? Which ones are the most accurate representation of the country's culinary dishes?

The TED story
I actually known TEDtalk for a long time. But this is my first time trying out to be involved in it. Previously I have watched TEDtalk in the past and I enjoy learning about new ideas and concepts brought forth by the speakers.
Recently, due to the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, I have some spare time, and after watching a certain TED video, I realised that there are ways to help providing subtitiles or translations to people who don't speak the same language, so they also would be able to understand the ideas and concepts and giving them the possibility to improve themselves as a person.
I generally try to do translating and such to the best of my abilities. Any feedbacks are welcome!
