My name is Andrea, I am Italian but I have been travelling/living abroad for the last 8 years mainly working in Spain, Australia, Belgium and UK. I am very active and enthusiastic and I hate to live in a routine, I constantly need to explore, learn and visit something new which is the main reason why I travel as much as I can, both on my own or with other companions. In the last few years I have started to appreciate much more spending time in the nature than in the cities and since then I have become a vegetarian as I believe is a great way to help the environment (along with many other things of course). In 2015/2016 I had started my career in the world of translation and subtitling and had a few work experiences via the Freelancers platform Upwork. After that my career took a different direction but I have soon realised my real passion was languages and translation and I have finally decided to get back on this track. While looking for opportunities to enrich my portfolio I came across this community and I absolutely fell in love with the mission so I intend to become and active part of TED helping out with translations or whatever other possibilities I can find out there.
