Tomoyuki Suzuki

Engineer

Tomoyuki was born in Nagoya, Japan and is currently living in Yokohama, Japan. He holds a master's degree in mining engineering. Tomoyuki started his professional career as a petroleum engineer and geophysicist for a Japanese oil and gas exploration company. He has traveled many countries to discuss business matters with joint venture parties of different international energy companies. He lived in Malaysia, Australia and United Kingdom for ten years altogether. He is spending his free time not only for translations and reviewing of TED Talks, but also in reading books on natural sciences especially in cosmology, particle physics, mathematics and also genetics in recent years. This taste explains why he preferentially picks review tasks of TED-Ed, which contains abundant natural science contents. He even opened up a Web site to introduce TED-Ed for Japanese readers.
