The TED story
I got acquainted with TED about half a year ago while surfing the FB page of an inspiring young Hungarian artist. He shared the talk "Every kid needs a champion" by Rita Pierson and referred to it as "one of the most determining experience of his life". That talk convinced me that education can be saved and being a teacher is one of the most beautiful walks of life on Earth. The other 100+ talks I watched since convinced me that TED is by far the best initation that has happened to the online world recently.
