Fluent in English, Turkish, Persian, and Pashto, I am dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for non-English-speaking communities, with a particular focus on transforming education in Afghanistan. The TED story
Growing up in a multilingual environment, I witnessed firsthand how the language barrier stifled access to education in Afghanistan. While pursuing my degrees, I realized that vast reservoirs of knowledge—critical for fields like finance, engineering, and entrepreneurship—were locked behind English. This ignited my resolve to become a conduit for change. Leveraging my fluency in Pashto and Persian, I began translating complex financial and project management concepts into digestible lessons for local communities. Today, I collaborate with NGOs and educators to develop open-source, multilingual educational platforms. My vision is a world where no one is sidelined by language, and every individual can contribute to their community’s growth with confidence and competence.
Things you might not know
Building grassroots educational networks. Beyond formal roles, I collaborate with local leaders and educators in Afghanistan to establish community learning hubs. These hubs provide free resources, from translated technical guides to workshops on financial management, enabling individuals to gain practical skills without language constraints.
