The TED story

The TED talks inspired me to translate movies and TV series. I've always been fascinated by movies and the captivating TED talks showed me that language is a bridge for sharing knowledge and experiences, regardless of geographical barriers. My quest to master translation motivated me to take a course in London in this field. However, technology also played an important role in my journey. In another translation training course, the use of tools such as MateCat opened new doors to efficiency and precision in my work. Then, one day, the idea came to me to start my work as a translator with inspiring TED talks. That's how I decided to translate the TED Talks into my mother tongue. Each talk has been an opportunity to learn more about the craft of translating and to pass on ideas that can have an impact on lives, giving me an incredible sense of purpose.
