Bio
I'm a midwife turned translator who lived as an expat in China for six years, communicating in three different languages – German, English, and Chinese – on a daily basis. Living in Asia has certainly broadened my horizon and taught me a thing or two about cultural differences and how closely they're related to language. I care for the environment and have a deep love for the ocean. Being close to it, on it (preferably on a sailing boat) or in it (preferably in scuba gear) always makes me happy. And I try to protect it and learn as much as I can about its fascinating ecosystems.

The environment, global women's health, languages, dancing, scuba diving, sailing, marine biology, learning new things
An idea worth spreading
