An idea worth spreading

There has been an intensive research in making humanoid robots that can be more human-friendly and can closely imitate humans. These research efforts are being made to integrate the robots into the human society and people from all age including kids and the elderly and the people with disabilities can also interact with them. Some robots have special skin types that can provide patients with a squishy feeling of real human skin, also helping in touch therapy. The robots like Riba, Kompaei, HERB and PerMMA, on one hand help assisting the elderly and disabled, and on the other hand, they can also help us with the household chores as well. It is also interesting to see the robots like Cyclops, Tamer, Riser and Raven which are not humanoid robots but help in assisting the patients and the doctors with tough tasks like surgeries. There is still a long way to go in the development of robots providing healthcare services, but we are on the right constructive track.
