About Miltos

I am a…

Atheist, Educator/Teacher, Musician

Bio

I was born in Athens, Greece. My father worked in the navy so we had to move to different parts of the country every two years. Eventually my parents settled on the island of Crete when I was 10. I finished school when I was 17. I packed a suitcase and moved to England to pursuit academic studies. I toyed around with different subjects and eventually trained as a Psychiatric Nurse. I worked predominantly on adolescent acute and psychiatric care wards. I then began my postgraduate studies in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and I am currently working as a Therapist and Supervisor for a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. I also run my own private practice.

I'm passionate about

Music. It makes my life complete. I trained in classical piano until I left Greece. Electronic music is my passion and I occasionally dj at various underground nights in London. Other passion: YOGA
