Almudena Torrecilla

I work as an IT analyst / project manager in an insurance company, in the area of life insurance and financial products with life/dependency coverages attached. My job consists of analysing what needs to be done code-wise to cater for the business requirements. Also evolving and maintining existing software applications. Aside from my job, I am an enthusiastic translator. During the pandemic I participated in a project to translate all the security and health COVID protocols from English into Spanish. I have been a volunteer translator/reviewer at TED since October 2019. And I willingly take on any translation project. I am also part of a non-profit movement where we accompany couples who wish to strengthen their relationship and nurture their bonds.

I love languages and linguistics. I enjoy nature a lot. I'm very active, always looking for new things to learn.
