Bio
Takaya received his education in the United States, specializing in New Media design. Upon returning to Japan, he has demonstrated a wide range of expertise, including lecturing on visual design, mentoring students, developing academic curricula, and spearheading collaborative design projects with local businesses and government entities.
Furthermore, Takaya has played a pivotal role in initiating international programs aimed at fostering global awareness within the university and local community. This includes planning and implementing academic exchange programs, organizing intercultural events, and providing guidance to prospective students interested in studying abroad.
I'm passionate about
exchanging ideas and sharing insights with young adults, also providing opportunities for them to thrive their creativities.

The TED story
I joined TEDxSapporo community as a SNS translator back in 2012. Currently, as an organizing team member, my roles at TEDxSapporo include visual and venue design, event operation, inspiring and mentoring volunteer students. Together working with art students, our stage design were showcased several times by TEDx official instagram and TEDx blog as one of the best venue of the year.
