Bio
I love quantum mechanics, although I am not sure that I understand it. I have been applying quantum conundrums to social life, humanism, diversity, development and management. The Humanistic Management Network is my new 'maloka' (indigenous place for thinking and sharing). I am Colombian. I love my country and I am trying to make a change. I love our music, folklor, food, mountains and 'calor humano' (human warmth). Romanticism (Latinamerican version) and music/dance are my passions. So anything that happens or that I chose to happen in my life, I try as much to fill it with energy, authenticity and joyfulness.

An idea worth spreading
What if the majority of the corporations and small/medium companies where for-growth but not for profit? The misconception about the human being is that only material incentives motivate him/her to do entrepreneurship. This paradigm has toxic outcomes for social structures because it promotes: endless accumulation--as something ethical [end result: greed]; jungle-type competition--as a fair game [end result: corruption]; elitist interactions--as a natural outcome [end result: discrimination]; transactional relationships--as the only one possible [end result: denigration]. Besides that, emotional, artistic or spiritual intelligences are downgraded. The overall result is what we are seeing right now, which permeates the corporate world, with these four symptoms: Skyrocketing CEO's wages, unethical practices to 'kill' the competition, bureaucracy and control to maintain top-management EGOs, and humans seen only as 'resources'.
