An idea worth spreading
I believe everybody deserves to be translated and to have access to translations of different content in their native language. Access to information should be considered one of the fundamental rights and the language we speak shouldn't be an obstacle. It is through learning that we can overcome our differences.
The TED story
I started watching TED Talks to improve my listening skills over 10 years ago and then I tried volunteering and I loved it!
I was lucky enough to enroll in TED Translators Mentoring Program in 2020 and that's when I started connecting with other volunteers and making new friends who share the same passion for languages and volunteering.
