About Ruxandra

Bio

I was born on the 18th of March, 1991, in the small town of Falticeni, Suceava county, Romania, where I still live during the holidays; during the academic year, I live in Iasi. When I was abouty 4-years old, my father started teaching me English. His grasp of the language may not have been the best, but he managed to stir my interest, and by the time I started highschool, I knew I would pursue a higher education, and job, that concerned using English, among other languages. I have obtained a CAE with the grade B in 2008, when I was 17, and the next summer I obtained my CPE, with a percentage of 73; my aim is to retake the CPE, and to obtain an even better grade. I am currently studying translation studies at The "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, just having finished my second year. Being very determined person, once I have to do something, be it a paper for school, or something for my own entertainment, I will not stop until it is completed. I appreciate constructive criticism, as it is my aim to improve my grasp of both English and German.
