Bio
I was born on february 1st 2000, I spent the first 4 years of my life in Morgenster, Zimbabwe. The years after that up to now I have lived in the Netherlands.
In high school I got my Cambridge English Level Advanced International Certificate (CEFR=C1), I participated in debate club and made a vegetarian quinoa burger for my research project, using aroma's from Exter Ltd. I was also a voluntary live translator from Dutch to English for people from Asylum Center Hoogeveen (my city).
In the meantime I traveled to many different countries: South-Africa, Nicaragua, Canarian Islands, Hungary and also Bosnia (with a special youth camp from school).
In 2018 I studied China Studies at Leiden University (near the Hague). Then I decided to study something differently. Right now, I am studying Business Economics and Consumer Sciences at Wageningen University.
I'm passionate about
movies, smartphones and computers, comics, cycling, meeting people of other cultures and (social) entrepreneurship
An idea worth spreading
In order for the economy to grow, rich individuals should pay higher taxes as they cannot and will not stimulate the economy. One rich person can only buy so many houses, cars and beds and only a small percentage of his income will cover this. The rest of his property will mostly be invested in stock, most of which does not create and add new value to the economy. The middle class and the government are the main drivers of national (and global) economy.
