Bio

I have always studied languages, I got my Bachelor's Degree in 2012 (University of Padua, Italy), and my Master's Degree in 2015 (Padua, Italy). I studied English, Spanish and French (and a bit of German when I was at high school). After graduating, I started working in different fields. I worked in an international touristic village in Italy, where I could practice many languages, where I met a lot of foreign tourists, people with all kinds of life experiences and backgrounds, I could spend time with new people every week and learn many things from them and from the children I worked with. I worked there during summer 2015 and 2016, and in those years I could improve my language skills, social and communication skills, organisation skills and much more. I also had some little experiences as a translator: I worked in a project in which I had to translate a whole Restaurant website from Italian into Spanish (translation of products, recipes, descriptions of locations and events). For three years, I was one of the official translators of Subspedia, a group of people who translate subtitles of TV series from English into Italian. I did not get paid for this job, so it was more a hobby, but it allowed me to learn a lot of new expressions, works, slang and strategies to adapt a language to another one. I was a linguistic and cultural interpreter in a secondary school, in 2017. During the year 2017/2018, I worked as an English teacher in a primary school (year one and two). I worked for three years as a dance teacher for children (from 4 to 12 years old). I have worked with children for more than 15 years, as I love spending time with them and absorbing their energy, their joy and being cheered up by their smile. I have always lived in Italy, but since 2015, I have been more open minded and I have been travelling around Europe (for now). I spent months abroad, for example, last summer (2017) I was an Au Pair in Spain for two months and a half and since July 2018, I have been an Au Pair in England (Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire), and I have been looking for a job as a translator. I love travelling, meeting new people, knowing their experiences, knowing new things, learning to be open minded, to accept differences, understanding different cultures and traditions and values. All these things make me richer and I am so glad I was so lucky to have the chance to start seeing more sides of this big world.
