Bio
I was born in Argentina, where I lived for 17 years. During the years 2014-2015 I went on exchange to France for 11 months as a Rotary International Exchange Student. When I came back, I volunteered in Brasil for 2 months as a Spanish Teacher Assistant. In 2016 I came back to France to start at university, my degree of Foreign Applied Languages with a combination of Spanish, English, and French.
I am currently spending the third year of my degree at Heriot-Watt University, in Scotland, as an Erasmus Student. I will be graduating this year and next year I am applying to start my Master Degree in Translation and Interpreting in Spain.
I am also fluent in Italian, though I still struggle a bit when writing because I have an Italian boyfriend and since two years ago I spend my summers in Italy. Spending months there and interacting with my boyfriend's family and friends have helped me develop a very good level in Italian.
I am currently studying German as well but my level is really low, just got started!
I'm passionate about
I'm a big passionate about languages, whenever I'm bored I'll just watch a movie in another language, watch videos about the sign language or just speak with someone in another language. I love everything I am currently studying.
I am as well a big fan of cooking and specially baking! Whenever I'm bored I would just go to the kitchen and bake something for someone or try new recipes. Some music and my head on a recipe is everything I need on a stressful day.
I also enjoy a lot doing sports, it is something important during my weeks. I enjoy doing intense sports as well as calm ones like Body Balance. I consider myself a very active person and I believe it has a positive impact on myself.
An idea worth spreading
I believe that travel is the key to reducing discrimination and the one that opens all minds. In countries like Argentina, where I come from, people tend to have a negative image of some cultures because we are not in contact with other cultures (like Africans, Arabs, Asians). Since I live in Europe my life is in constant contact with different cultures and it made me grow a lot as a person. Traveling and discovering other cultures makes you appreciate what you have and to become more tolerant towards others.
