Hey ! So yeh, I am James. I was born in Northern Italy and raised speaking German and Italian. I was absolutely amazed by the beauty of books and literature from an early age on and began reading books ranging from the fictitious worlds of Hogwarts and Narnia to philosophical novels written by some of my favorite literary titans. I read virtually all of the books I could get my hands on in English and thus English slowly grew into my primary (especially in academic register) language. I became more articulate in English than I was in German and Italian in my early teens and much to the dismay of my parents have stuck with English as my primary language ever since. I have been incredibly blessed growing up speaking three languages and would love nothing more but to share my experience and knowledge with others. I truly hope I can be of help translating some of the absolutely brilliant TEDx talks found on this website. Thanks for reading James

Books. I love reading. I have been utterly in love with reading ever since my older sister gave me a copy of Harry Potter at age 6.

I have been watching TED for years. I love their work and open discussion. I just feel proud to able to contribute to such an enormous project.
