The TED story
It was some years ago I was doing a presentation and I loved Jill Bolte Taylor's story, which I saw on Oprah. Then I did not know anything about TED, but loved her TED Talk. Now years later I signed up for Ideas Worth Doing from TEDxAmsterdam and got involved as a project manager for TEDxBaghdad. This past year (2011) we made the impossible Possible and organized the first TEDx conference in Baghdad on 12 November, with a team of wonderful and inspiring people from all around the world. We connected the Iraqi's inside with those outside and had the most amazing event ever. Now we will continue this amazing journey and hope to have an ever lasting impact on the Iraqi community with our conferences and projects. TED has inspired me to do more and to give more and that's the true TED slogan I believe.
