An idea worth spreading

The idea of how bodies relate to each other and to the materiality of the rest of the world (such as the things we are surrounded with in our daily lives: a couch,a glass etc.). The idea is that these things are not dead but affect us as much as we affect them, they are not separated from us but the human body exists in a fluid openness within a larger context. This idea is important, i think, when it comes to how we (especially in the western world) think of ourselves as isolated units. The consequence of this idea is highly destructive both to ourselves ( the feeling of loneliness for example), and to our surroundings: due to the separation between our own bodies and other bodies (human, the world, the animals, things etc) there is a lack of a feeling of responsibility when we act. Instead, if we conceived of ourselves as beings part of a larger unified field this lack would not be possible.
