Hey y'all! Soooo....Once upon a time I handled big contracts as a producer in huge events in Belgium. I made more money than I could spend, so one day I quit and went backpacking in South America for a year. This was 15 years ago, before the era of social media, no internet for weeks and...I survived ;-) Somewhere along the way, I met a French emergency doctor/sailor, I followed him to sail all over the Pacific. Our kids were almost born on our boat and we've continued to travel all over the planet with them. I've become a Yoga Teacher & a translator since, which come in handy when you change continents often. Now settling down in Corsica (France), traveling less but working more, which is a nice change for us :-)

I'm new here, so my TED story is not that long...yet. I heard about TED a long time ago, but I thought it was some fashionable thing that would pass. But then a friend of mine sent me some talks and my life literally changed. How could I have lived without TED for such a long time? There are sooooooo many things to know, to hear, to explore, to share. And I realised the important work TED is doing, so I needed to be a part of it. I started translating videos so more people could watch them, which is the whole idea of the translating program. Keep it up, I'm stoked to be part of this community!!
