About Tamara
Bio
Tamara Perry is a translation profession based in Madrid, Spain. While completing her bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, she studied abroad at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also holds a Masters in Teaching from the Universidad de Alcalá and completed a course in professional translation at Estudio Sampere Escuela de Traductores e Intérpretes in Madrid.
After graduating from Oglethorpe University, she began her professional recruiting career in information technology in Atlanta where she successfully placed candidates within software development, network communications & support, project management & business analysis, and more. She remained in this role for seven years before relocating to Madrid to teach English.
After a year of teaching, she returned to the US, this time relocating to the Washington D.C. area. There she began recruiting technology candidates for a number of federal government agencies including the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the US Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS), the United States Postal Service (USPS), and The White House among others.
