I am Rama Yaseen Al-Maqusi, a student of Applied English who has an ambition for translating and expanding her scope of knowledge. I am a translator at https://www.elmahatta.com/. Reading about different topics has transformed me into a completely different person, and I find joy in reading about psychology and self-development. Considering the tremendous amount of resources available online, one of the beliefs that I hold is that learning is limitless. Given the fact that I started learning English since I was 6 years old, English has offered me a new way of thinking and taught me to view life from different perspectives.

Watching TED talks has been a remarkable opportunity to get to know the way people around the world think and what interests them as individuals. Expanding my knowledge, improving my English, and spending my free time productively are some of the ways TED talks have helped me. So when I acquired the skills needed for translating, I joined the TED translators team to help in spreading the speakers' ideas around the world.
