Bio
When I was 17 I realised that the purpose of my life is to learn and grow. I am an ambivert and an ardent learner who is curious about really random things. I shall remain a student for life. And I must mention that I love my family more than anything else. I am a polyglot and my mind works in four languages. I will be more than happy if it can go beyond four!
I'm passionate about
talking in different accents and entertaining people are two things I absolutely love. It really gives me joy to crack the most bizarre jokes or talk in a certain way that makes someone crack up instantly. In that moment, I am not shy or afraid of being judged because it gives me immense happiness. I also enjoy learning new languages and connecting dots between multiple languages.
An idea worth spreading
India and Pakistan are two countries that have been arch rivals since the past 70 years. This rivalry has costed millions to suffer in different ways, and the suffering still carries on. Indians and Pakistanis residing in different countries are the first to become friends, but it isnt so when they reside as immediate neighbours. I wish to promote the idea of peace and harmony between the citizens of two countries who share an inglorious past and were one before they parted. I am beginning to do my part by making friends across the borders online, in order to let go of all the prejudices that have been created in our minds by the media and other forces. By knowing them personally, I get an insight into how we are the same and we deserve to live happily in harmony.
The TED story
I have been watching TED videos since the past 5 years because I get to learn really different things from across spectrums.
My bucket list includes doing something so wonderful that I am able to deliver a TED talk one day, and the day I get that opportunity, I will have my TED story! :)
Things you might not know
observing people and picking up their traits. I distinctly observe how people walk, talk, behave and just be. I also am good at a lot of different forms of art such as paper quilling, calligraphy henna art and oh making different hairstyles! People also dont know that I remember random dates and details no matter how old they are. I also write poems in Hindi/Urdu which I usually dont share.
