I am a passionate teacher and youths' coach.I have been trained as a Scientist and a Teacher, I live to stir up learning and encourage purposeful living to young people. A wife and a mother of three. I live to encourage, support and build up young people to be and thrive to their fullest potentials. I had a first degree in Molecular biology and biotechnology, worked for a year as a laboratory technician in a research institution before I moved on into a Child Development programming advisory role with an International Organisation for about nine years; during which I also undertook evening classes and got a Post graduate Diploma in Education and a Masters degree in Educational Planning and Administration. I am Currently running a newly established Pre-school and child care center during the day and also do speaking engagements in schools, churches and youths events as an invited guest. I also run a book club for teenagers in my community, where we meet once every month for book discussions, brain games and inspirational talks. I enjoy reading books, learning new ideas,swimming, travelling and interacting with young people.

I am passionate about Education and or knowledge sharing. I find pleasure in learning and spreading new ideas.

Every human being has a special power, purpose and a place in this planet. We need to give a special attention, exercise patience and be open to people in order to get to know them, learn from them and appreciate them. Diversity is what makes the world beautiful, it shapes us, defines us, and teach us to appreciate ourselves. Education is a right tool we can use to bring a change and a lasting transformation in people. Whatever gap we see in others, we can find a way to bridge it through education. Education can empower, inform and transform. Most of the time people do what they do because of the information that they have or do not have. If we succeed to change the information or provide the right information, then we can succeed to change their actions or/and behaviors. The good thing for any person is the ability to keep on learning, unlearning and relearning. This is what makes a person grow and glow.

I have been listening and learning from TED Talks on youtube since 2010, In 2018 met with someone who is a Ted translator and he introduced me to TED translation and how I can volunteer. I was so excited because I had a list of TED Talks that I was really wishing to have them available in my local language(swahili) so that my people and community can benefit from those Ideas. Right away I applied to become a TED translator and have so far been able to translate one video, and another one is on the way. I find pleasure in translating TED talks in my free time and I am happy because I am making these priceless ideas available in my local language for my people to benefit from them.

Cooking though I don't like to do it very often. If I do it as a regular chore It bores me quickly. I can cook my best meals when I feel like doing it and if it is not compulsory.
