I am passionate about social change, specifically in women’s and children's rights. As an activist and student journalist, I value education, community, and truth — all of which are important factors of creating positive change. I enjoy leading social justice initiatives, volunteering, and working with teams of my peers. In addition to being active in my community, I am also passionate about learning and enjoy reading, writing, and keeping up with current events. Journalism is important to me and I enjoy being a leader of the DPHS yearbook staff, as well as using my photography, writing, and graphic design skills to connect with my community and provide education for other youth.
