Improvement to change in all the limited and exclusion system. Through my experiences, I've been learning by doing. I remember seeing one of my first TED talks with various speakers and diverse ideas. That's made my strong point to believe on the capacity of multi-vision and people of various racial backgrounds can push the social exclusion. I did investigation 3 years ago to solve the problems on the solid waste. I did not had education about environment care or design; the ideas come to me as important matter to do something that might help the people to live in a safe environment! And to show in the world that, your ideas is your strong point to solve the problems of your community. My crazy ideas might be the next step towards to change.

Greetings! I am Shao-chi, a sophomore from Taipei Municipal Jianguo high school. When it comes to the passions of my life, I will accentuate two main facets: global citizenship and swimming. In the previous semester, I have been chosen as one of the 12 Taiwanese high school students that will represent our country as youth delegates and travel abroad with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Fortunately, I had this precious opportunity to broaden my global horizon, sharpen my English capability, and become a genuine global citizen. Also, I went to Cambodia for 2 weeks to serve as an international voluntary English teacher, companying the children in Siem Reap, step by step, to explore the joy of learning English. At school, I am part of the Ambassador program, which is responsible of receiving foreign students. Also, I direct the Model United Nations Course intending to establish a platform for me and other pupils’ to work together, and cultivate our global mindsets. As for my hobbies, swimming cannot be, by any means, overemphasized. I train at 6~8 am and 5~7 pm every day with the swimming team, savoring the calm pondering and equanimity when water trickles by my body, and enjoying the thrilling excitement to leap through the raging surges. My addiction to swimming led me to break the record of 50m breaststroke of Taipei. There cannot be any words to express my utmost respect and gratitude for my painstaking coaches and beloved teammates.
