I’m deeply passionate about the intersections of language, culture, and creative expression. In both my teaching and translation work, I find great purpose in making language learning engaging and accessible, especially for students exploring Chinese. I hope one day to be able of crafting innovative educational materials and integrating technology to personalize the learning experience excites me, as it allows me to bring the language alive for my students. I also find fulfillment in sharing Asian cultures through events, workshops, and cultural programs, fostering understanding and connection across cultures. Beyond teaching, often inspired by the places I visit and the people I meet, my creative writing allows me to explore language on a more personal level, expressing emotions and experiences that deepen my own understanding and connection with others. This creative pursuit enriches my work and offers students an additional layer of connection to language and culture. Inclusivity and support for neurodiverse and diverse learners are central to my approach, influencing my teaching, writing, and academic projects, as I strive to create spaces where all voices are respected and celebrated.
