TED Translators

public health, science communication, language learning, philosophy and art TED-translation: interested mostly in health and science/futurism Public Health intelligence and PH translation is important for several reasons: • global access to health information - and therefore with direct impacts on physical health, overall well-being and quality of life; • better understanding of health, sociobiology and complex systems; • agency, self-help and empowerment; • in-depth knowledge of health topics for (1)the translator (higher level of awareness because of time spent (provided translation is thorough and adequate) and cognition due to information flow between and beyond languages) and (2)anyone interested willing to invest their time and investigate further including patients and medical experts with limited access to information and/or language.
