I Am really passionate about adding value to other people and fighting for the common interests of people. I always wanted to represent people of the community and provide them with the best resources within my abilities. I also wanted to use education to fulfill the dreams that I mentioned. Based on all these, I figured out that a political consultant is what I’m looking for. Since my childhood, I always wanted to hold positions and wanted to represent people. During my schooling, I held posts like Head boy and so on. In college too, I’m holding a lot of positions of responsibility. For this reason, I think TEDxVNRVJIET is a great opportunity for me to add value to the people of my community. One more thing is, when I took responsibility, I faced a lot of challenges like building stuff from scratch, convincing people, negotiating, etc. but nothing stopped me because of my passion to serve people.

I feel that everyone has a right to be happy. We often judge the success or failure of a country by such metrics as GDP and per capita income, whereas factors such as the quality of life and happiness are usually ignored or used as secondary or even tertiary indicators of performance. This has created a culture of development without a conscience and is at the heart of a multitude of problems leading to unsustainable goals that damage the environment and, in the long run, jeopardize the future of the human race. Countries such as Bhutan have led by example. Their groundbreaking emphasis on a “Happiness Index,” is helping the Bhutanese people lead simple, yet fulfilled lives. This also is at heart of another issue which is extremely important to me and that is the environment. As a high-school student, I led two rallies to seek policies that would help mitigate climate change and reduce plastic usage. I believe that a healthier environment will help us lead happier lives and I plan to continue to work towards making the largest contribution to this goal that I can.

Life, love, and other mysteries... I feel like there is giant pool of crystal clear life out there, and it's up to us to take a gulp. Love others, and never be afraid to venture into the unknown!
