TEDxTiranaWomen

In Tirana the event took place on December 6th, 2013 at Chateau Linza. This event brought to the stage some of the most influential female voices in the country and helped to promote the power and reputable image of women in the community. The audience present in the venue was mosaic and as vibrant as the speakers invited (participants from the academia, the business world, NGOs, media, and positive change agents). The event was divided into three sections, as e retreat for the mind, body and soul. It started with a yoga session bringing peace and a stretch to the body, followed by the conference, where speaker's talks nourished thinking and ideas, and finishing it up with poetry reading accompanied with an extraordinary piano performance for soothing the soul. The speakers where all well-reputable female professionals from a variety of backgrounds, namely arts, civil society, politics, journalism and psychology. They held their speeches live and answered some very thought provoking questions, moderator/host Besa Shahini asked after each talk.
