Rukmini Banerji
Dr. Rukmini Banerji has been in the core team of ASER since it was launched in 2005 and currently heads ASER Center. She has been with Pratham since 1996. She is also responsible for Pratham's program activities in several major states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Assam. Rukmini has represented ASER and Pratham at many international forums, including the Clinton Global Initiative in New York in 2008 and the Fast Track Global Initiative meeting in Copenhagen in 2009. She has extensive field experience both in program implementation as well as in evaluation, survey and research. Initially trained as an economist in India, she did her BA at St. Stephen's College and attended Delhi School of Economics. She was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University and completed her PhD at the University of Chicago. She did her post doctoral work at the Population Research Centre at the University of Chicago and later worked as a program officer at the Spencer Foundation in Chicago before returning to India in 1996.
V. Ravichandar
Ravichandar has over 32 years of industry experience in Research and Consulting. An Engineering graduate from BITS, Pilani and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Ravichandar is a treasure chest of vast knowledge and expertise. You can frequently see him sharing his experience and mentoring many start ups on a pro bono basis to keep abreast of market developments. Passionate about urban issues, Ravichandar is the Chief Evangelizer of City Connect, an inclusive platform for better cities.
Sean Blagsvedt
To harness the power of digital social networking for India’s poor, Sean Blagsvedt created the job search site Babajob.com. In the last few years, he has been dedicated to helping to try to solve this problem at scale. They have had about 700,000 users in India and are expanding to Indonesia. Their services are live on five mobile carriers and they add another 2,500 people every week. And there are thousands and thousands of people that have gotten jobs through his site.
GK Jayaram
Dr.G.K. Jayaram is the founder–Director of the Institute of Leadership & Institutional Development at Bangalore. He is the Chief Mentor, Jawaharlal Nehru Leadership Institute, New Delhi and was the first Chairman of Infosys Technologies.
Srikanth Nadhamuni
Srikanth Nadhamuni is currently CEO of Khosla Labs. Perviously, he was 'Head of Technology' at the Unique Identity Authority of India. He is also the Managing Trustee of the eGovernments Foundation which he co-founded with Nandan Nilekani in 2003.
