TEDxDaeguChange

이번 TEDxChange의 주제는 "Positive Disruption"입니다. 보통 disruption은 일반적으로 혼란, 혼돈, 그리고 잠재적인 위험이라는 뜻을 내포하지요. 우리는 집에서, 그리고 사회에서 순종적이거나 무저항적인 행동을 좋아하지, 저항적이거나 혼란을 주는 행동은 좋아하지 않습니다. 그러나 이러한 행동이 긍정적일 수 있다는 것은 아시나요? 때때로 이러한 행동은 필수불가적인 행동이 되기도 하고 변화의 촉매제가 되기도 하지요. 또한 이러한 행동은 오래된 인식에 도전이 되기도 하고 대화를 유도하여 소통하게 만들며, 사회를 움직이고 더 나이가 새로운 가능성을 도출시키기도 합니다. 혼란은 힘든 상황에 한줄기 빛이 될 수도 있고, 신선한 경고를 주기도 하고요, 국제 사회의 어려운 문제들에 조망을 주기도 합니다. 가장 어려움 문제들인 건강과 개발에 대한 문제를 풀기위해 우리는 긍정적인 혼란이 필요할 때가 있습니다. 진정한 진보를 위하여 통과해야하는 것이죠. 그러한 이야기를 4월 3일 시애틀에서 이야기해보고자 하는 행사입니다. Disruption is usually unwelcome. It represents conflict, chaos, and potential danger. We discourage disruptive behavior in our homes and our societies, often favoring passivity and compliance. But disruption can be a positive – sometimes vital – catalyst for change. It can challenge old assumptions, ignite conversations, activate authorities and expose new possibilities. Disruption can shed a unique light on difficult issues, giving a fresh urgency and perspective to the challenges of our global community. To solve the most intractable challenges in health and development, we need positive disruption. It is the path to true progress.
